- The FISC Norfolk Contracting Department, Groton Office seeks qualified sources capable of providing administrative support services for Curriculum Conversion to Authoring Instructional Materials (AIM) - II for the Surface Warfare Officers School (SWOS) located at Naval Station Newport, RI. This is a SYNOPSIS for commercial services prepared in accordance with the information in FAR Subpart 12.6, using Simplified Acquisition Procedures for commercial items found at FAR part 13. This synopsis shall be posted on both the FEDBIZOPPS and NECO (https://www.neco.navy.mil/). The Request for Quote (RFQ) number is N0018911RC011. The NAICS code is 561990 - All Other Support Services and/or 561110 - Office Administrative Services. The small business standard for both NAICS codes is $7.0 Million. This is an unrestricted business size competitive action. Questions regarding technical or contractual issues must be addressed to the Contract Specialist via e-mail or fax ONLY. This RFQ will incorporate provisions and clauses in effect through FAR and DFARS. It is the vendor's responsibility to be familiar with the applicable clauses and provisions. Lack of registration in the central contractor registration (CCR) database (www.ccr.gov) will make a vendor ineligible for award. The government anticipates release of the RFQ during mid June 2011.
