- Western Area Power Administration (Western) has a requirement for a contractor to provide all labor, materials, equipment, transportation and other resources necessary to provide Line Slash (Right of Way) Maintenance Services to all areas of the Upper Great Plains Region in accordance with the Performance Work Statement. This solicitation is unrestricted. The NAICS Code for this requirement is 561730 with a size standard of $5 Million. The performance period on the resulting contract will be one (1) base year and four (4) one-year option periods. All responsible concerns may submit a bid which shall be considered by this Agency. Any non-U.S. (Foreign National) visiting or working at any Western Area Power Administration facility must receive prior written approval from the appropriate Western Security Manager. The solicitation, specifications and drawings, and any subsequent amendments will only be available in electronic format, downloadable from the internet. No CD-ROMs or hardcopy documents will be distributed. Interested parties can download the solicitation at http://e-center.doe.gov/ or http://www.fbo.gov on or about June 10, 2011 and the projected date for receipt of offers is June 30, 2011. It is the responsibility of the bidders to monitor the website for notices and amendments. Note: All bids for this RFQ shall be mailed to Western Area Power Administration, 200 4th Street SW, Huron, SD 57350-2474.
