- Notice is modified to include the Solicitation. Please submit proposals as per the Section L of the Solicitation. The USCG Surface Forces Logistics Center, Long Range Enforcer Product line, is seeking qualified sources to the overhaul and Technical Representation of PRATT & WHITNEY MODEL FT4A FREE (POWER) TURBINE UNIT for the 378' WHEC Cutter's and the 400' WAGB Icebreakers. It is anticipated that a five year indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity contract will be awarded as a result of the follow on solicitation. It is the Government's belief that only the authorized original equipment manufacturer (OEM) can supply these parts to ensure the proper form, fit and function of all its components. Therefore it is the Government's intent to solicit only to the original equipment manufacturer (OEM). Offerors having the expertise and capabilities to provide these parts are invited to submit complete information within 15 calendar days from the date of this notice. Information must include the following information: (1) Complete and current engineering data to demonstrate the acceptability of the offered parts (i.e., salient physical, functional, and performance characteristics) and/or (2) Data that the offered parts have been satisfactorily manufactured for the Government. This data must include sufficient information to allow the Coast Guard to evaluate the information relative to the above requirements. Concerns that respond to this notice must fully demonstrate the capability to accomplish the above and are to supply pertinent information in sufficient detail to demonstrate a bona fide capability to meet the requirements. Inquiries/information received after the established deadline shall NOT be considered for this acquisition. The submission of this data for review shall not impede award of this contract.
