- Description
- The 28th Contracting Squadron, Ellsworth AFB, SD intends to solicit, compete and award a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract for wastewater treatment plant services. The period of performance on this contract will be for 1 year starting 1 Oct 2011 with 4 option years. The acquisition will be conducted in accordance with FAR 12 and 15 procedures. The Request for Proposal (RFP) number FA4690-11-R-0006 and all related attachments will be posted in Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) on or about 31 May, 2011. This is a 100% Women Owned small business set-aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 221320. If you are claiming status of small business under this NAICS, the Small Business size standard is 7 million dollars. Description of services: The contractor shall provide all management, tools, supplies, equipment and labor necessary to ensure the Ellsworth Air Force Base (EAFB) Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP), associated equipment, and specific systems relating to the wastewater treatment system are operated, maintained and repaired to meet state and federal requirements. Associated equipment and related specific systems include but are not limited to: influent monitoring stations lift stations, outfalls and associated weirs, oil/water separators, and holding tanks. The closing date and time for submission of offers will be contained within the solicitation package.
