Description: Notice for a SOLE SOURCE requirement in accordance with the 41 U.S.C. 253(c)(1), Federal Acquisition Regulation Part 6, 6.302-1, Only one responsible source, for Assistance with Charles Russell CCP Planning, to include related satellite locations. The Sole Source Justification and Approval may be found at: http://www.fws.gov/contracts/ja/ja.aspx?id=bb223a62-4adb-4592-b602-b1dd97a26ae8. USFWS believes that Mike's Consulting, Lewistown, MT 59457, key personnel, Mr. Mike Getman is the only source that encompasses the expertise required to accomplish the requirement. This procurement is to address a critical shortage in staffing, and organic expertise necessary to achieve a legislatively mandated schedule for completion of CCP Planning. The specialized expertise required is typically obtained by time and experience; coupled with personal knowledge and education. Currently there is a shortage of expert human capital for the Charles M. Russell area. Mike's Consulting provides unmatched knowledge and is the only known option. Any parties who feel they have the capabilities required to do the above are welcome to provide documentation on their expertise and qualifications for consideration by 6 June 2011, 10:00 AM ET. All such documentation should be sent to the point of contact listed in this announcement. This notice of intent is NOT a request for competitive proposals. The intent of this announcement is to determine if any source(s) exist, and therefore, Solicitation no. F11PS00791 will not be made available. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency.
