- Proposals are being solicited by the USDA, Forest Service for the Kadletz Cr. and Wright Cr. Culvert project located on the Salmon-Challis National Forest, Lemhi County, Idaho. The work consists of clearing, removing and disposing of existing culverts; structural excavation, backfilling, compacting; providing hauling and placing of riprap and crushed aggregate; producing simulated streambed and constructing grade control structures; seeding and mulching; and furnishing and installing a 21'-8" span x 6'-2" rise precast three-sided concrete box culvert placed on precast concrete footings at each site. This requirement is being solicited as a Firm-Fixed Price Request for Proposals. The approximate start work date will be the Summer of 2011. Proposals are due at 3:00 p.m. MST, July 14, 2011. The estimated price range is between $100,000 and $250,000. The solicitation will be available on approximately June 15, 2011 and may be downloaded from this site at that time. All future information about this acquisition, including amendments, will be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. Vendors are required to be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) http:www.ccr.gov and shall complete the On-Line Registration and Certifications Application (ORCA) http://orca.bpn.gov.. All responsible sources may submit a response to this announcement which will be considered by this agency.
