Description
Draft RFQ The Office of Personnel Management (OPM) plans to conduct an Industry Day forum to discuss and initiate small and large business feedback on a IT Services Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) and related acquisition strategies. The forum will be held on June 10, 2011, from 1:00 PM to 4:30 PM Eastern Standard Time (EST) at OPM Headquarters Auditorium, 1900 E Street (20th & E Streets NW) NW, Washington DC 20415. Check-in will begin at 12:00 PM and the meeting will begin at 1:00 PM EST. The purpose of the Industry Day is to discuss technology needed for the IT Services BPA. The forum will focus on the discussion of the IT Services BPA, our desired outcome, and other details related to the forthcoming acquisition for this topic. Questions will be addressed during the event, however the Government may not respond to all specific questions or comments submitted in response to this announcement or information provided as a result of this announcement. Industry Day is for information and planning purposes only and shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government for any purpose. REGISTRATION INFORMATION: All interested parties must pre-register to attend the forum. Walk-ins will not be permitted. Registration is limited to two (2) representatives from each organization. However, if the number of registrants exceeds the capacity of the OPM auditorium, it may be necessary to further limit attendance of registrants from each organization to just one, in which case the organization will be notified. OPM will reply via e-mail with the registration confirmation. All expenses associated with attendance will be the responsibility of the participant (s). To register, email the following information to ITBPA@OPM.GOV no later than 12:00 PM EST Tuesday, June 7, 2011. 1. Company Name and Address (include DUNS number) 2. Business size: Large or Small 3. Business Type: Small, Small Disadvantaged, Women Owned Small Business (WOSB), Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), HUBZone small business or other type 4. Full Name and Contact information for each company representative attending Responses are strictly voluntary and the government will not reimburse respondents for any costs associated with the submittal of the requested information. Any information submitted in response to this request is subject to disclosure under the Freedom of Information Act, 5 USC § 552(a). The government does not request any proprietary information be submitted, nor shall it be liable, for any consequential damages for any proprietary information. Attendance at this Industry Day forum is voluntary and is not required to submit a proposal. Only those eligible to submit proposals may participate; foreign persons, as defined by the U.S. Department of State, under Title 22, Foreign Relations, Section 120.16, may not attend. All information and discussions that take place at the Industry Day Forum will be done at the unclassified level. Each attendee will need to bring a government-issued, photographic identification to gain access to OPM. Due to security requirements, persons who did not pre-register will not be given access. QUESTIONS/COMMENTS Questions/Comments (Q/C) related to this Industry Day will be accepted via e-mail from June 1, 2011 to 4:00 P.M. EST June 6, 2011. AFTER June 6, 2011, THE Q/C PERIOD WILL CLOSE. The Q/C period will allow for potential feedback to be incorporated in any resulting acquisition. Submit Questions/Comments to the following email address: ITBPA@OPM.GOV The Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization and Policy (OSDBU & Policy) at OPM will offer the opportunity to match potential prime contractor with potential subcontractors. Contact information for potential prime contractors will provided to all potential subcontractors. Also, contact information for all potential subcontractors will be provided to all potential prime contractors. Time has been allocated at the end of the Industry Day to allow contractors to meet. OPM will provide space at the end of the Industry Day for all potential prime contractors that indicate that they would like space to meet with potential subcontractors. Each potential prime contractor will be responsible for coordinating meetings with potential subcontractors. OPM will not be responsible for coordinating meetings between potential prime contractors and potential subcontractors.
