- Notice for a SOLE SOURCE requirement in accordance with 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), and Federal Acquisition Regulation Part 6, 6.302-1, Only one responsible source, for a single contract award/sole source contract for bus transportation to and from multiple locations across the Hawaiian Islands of O'ahu and Hawaii. The Hawaii Army National Guard believes that Roberts Tours and Transportation is the only responsible source that can meet the Government's requirement of providing bus transportation on separate islands under a single contract award. This procurement to transport Troops to and from designated areas is imperative to meeting mission requirements, thus, the importance of only one source is necessary to minimize inherent risk during movement. Any parties who feel they have the capabilities required to do the above are welcome to provide documentation on their expertise and qualifications for consideration by 8 June 2011, 10:00 AM HST. All such documentation should be sent to the point of contact listed in this announcement. This notice of intent is NOT a request for competitive proposals. The intent of this announcement is to determine if any source(s) exist, and therefore, Solicitation no. W912J611P0032 will not be made available. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency.
