Description
This is a pre-solicitation notice to inform all parties that the United States Marine Corps Contracting Office, Marine Corps Air Station, Iwakuni (MCASI), Japan, intends to purchase passenger and cargo vans, non-tactical for various purposes. These vehicles will be used for general administrative use by the U.S. Government in Japan. A separate written soliciation M62613-11-T-0034 will be issued as a request for quotation o/a 10 June 2011. The Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) provisions and clauses apply to this acquisition and the solicitation document incorporates provisions and clauses of those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-50 and Defense FAR Suppelment 20110518. This procurement constitutes seven (7) Contract Line Item Numbers (CLIN) outlined as follows. Further specifications are described in the solicitation. CLIN 0001: 8 Passenger Van QTY - 6 EA CLIN 0002: 10 Passenger Van QTY - 4 EA CLIN 0003: Ton Passenger Cargo Van (Law Enforcement) - 1 EA CLIN 0004: 1 Ton Cargo Van Standard Roof - 2 EA CLIN 0005: 1 Ton Cargo Van High Roof - 2 EA CLIN 0006: 15 Passenger Van - 1 EA CLIN 0007: 10 Passenger Van - 1 EA Note: All vehicles must meet Government of Japan Safety Standards for operations in Japan. The requirement for warranty and maintenance services to be conducted in Japan. Delivery requirements: 90 calendar days from the date of contract award Door to Door to Marine Corps Air Station Iwakuni, Japan FOB: Destination. The items under this procurement are subject to the Trade Agreements Act of 1979 as applied to Government Procurements in the United States. All quotes shall be in the English language and priced in U.S. dollars. Responsible Offerors must be active in the Central Contractor Registration in accordance with DFARS 252.204-7004 unless you qualify under an exemption. DUNS, TIN and CAGE Code must be written on the submitted proposal. All responsible sources may submit quotes which will be considered by the agency.
