- Industry Day Location Jahnstrasse 16 67686 Mackenbach Industry Day Invite including Draft Agenda Interested parties are hereby invited to participate in an Industry Day session to be held on Thursday, 16 June 2011 from 0900 hrs until 1200 hrs regarding an upcoming procurement for European Style buses as follows: • 16 Passenger (Pax) Buses 04 (four)EA • 23 Pax Buses 03 (three) EA • 28 Pax Buses 17 (seventeen) EA • 44 Pax Buses 17 (seventeen) EA • Coach Bus 01 (one) EA • Including training for technicians (access to technical data and diagnostic equipment) and driver's training, if available The Industry Day session will be held at the Sportheim SV Mackenbach Jahnstrasse 16 67686 Mackenbach Germany Draft Agenda: 0830 - 0845 Arrival, Check-in 0845 - 0900 Networking among Attendees 0900 - 0915 Welcome and Purpose of Industry Day- 700 CONS/LGCB Thilo Loewe 0915 - 0945 Presentation of the Bus Purchase Requirement - USAFE/A4 TBD 0945 - 1015 Breakfast 1015 - 1045 Solicitation and Award Process - 700 CONS/LGCB Thilo Loewe 1045 - 1100 Legal Perspective - Legal Advisor Doug Chicka 1100 - 1200 Dialogue, Questions and Wrap-up 1200 Industry Day Ends Registration for this event is required and must be submitted no later than 10 June 2011, 1200hrs. Registration submissions shall be send via email to: thilo.loewe@ramstein.af.mil and sean.krisko@ramstein.af.mil. The registration shall contain number and names of participants as well as the company name represented. Email, duty phone and cell phone of at least one POC shall be part of the information provided with the registration. The Government will not compensate industry participants for travel, lodging or any other expenses associated with this event. The purpose of this Industry Day is to brief interested parties on the requirement, how the US Government is doing business and to clarify any open question to help everybody getting a better understanding of the process. A laptop and a LCD Television for presentation purposes will be available. Also, literature and catalogs of products as similar as the requirement stated above are more than welcome to help us understanding what is available in the commercial marketplace. This notice does not constitute an invitation for bids or a Request for Proposal (RFP) and is not a commitment by the U.S. Government to enter into any acquisition for any products or services. No solicitation document exists at this time.
