- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with FAR Part 12. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is issuing RFP VA-797-11-0117 to acquire Dietary Supplements, Tube Feeding products, Enteral Pumps, Spike Sets, Thickeners and Pre-thickened beverages. This solicitation is issued to establish Indefinite Delivery- Requirement type National Contract(s). The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 311999 with a small business size standard of 500 employees. This requirement will be procured on an unrestricted basis. Resulting contracts will be in effect for one base year plus three one year pre-priced option periods which may be exercised by the Government. The effective date of the contract(s) will be January 1, 2012. The total length of the contract(s) with all options may extend through December 31, 2015. Award(s) will be based on a lowest price, technically acceptable source selection process. There are four product categories: Category I: Therapeutic Oral Nutritional Products (Attachment A) Category II: Therapeutic Tube Feeding Products & Administration Systems (Attachment B) Category III: Therapeutic Specialty & Modular, Oral & Tube Feeding Products (Attachment C) Category IV: Beverage Thickeners and Pre-Thickened Nutrition Products (Attachment D) There will be only one award per product group; and multiple awards per product category are possible for categories I, III and IV. There will be only one award for category II. All proposed pricing must be inclusive of F.O.B. Destination. All offers must be received no later than July 11, 2011 at 4:00PM CDT. Any offers received after the closing date and time will be rejected without further consideration. It is the responsibility of interested parties to periodically access this site in order to obtain any amendments which may be issued. Failure to obtain any said amendments and to respond to them prior to the date and time set for receipt of proposals may render your proposal non-responsive and result in the rejection of your proposal.
