- Request for Quotation Package The U.S. Coast Guard Surface Forces Logistic Center, MEC Product Line has a requirement for Commercial Items, to procure (12) each Centrifugal Pump Units... These pumps are critical component of the vessels refrigeration system, and "Brand Name" is Essential. The Original Equipment Manufacturer for this pump is manufacturered by Scot Division of Ardox Corp, Part no. 3145K063. All engineering and technical information is proprietary to Scot Division It is the Governments belief that only Scott Division, the Original Equipment Manufacturer, can successfully manufacturer the pump unit to ensure form, fit, and function compatibility, therefore it is the Government's intent to solicit and negotiate only with Scot Division or one of there dealer/distributor. Concerns having the expertise and required capabilities to furnish the above items are invited to submit complete information discussing the same within 5 calendar days from the day this notice is posted. The information that must be submitted includes: (1) Complete and current engineering data to demonstrate the acceptability of the offered parts, (i.e., salient physical, functional, and performance characteristics) and/or (2) Data that the offered parts has been satisfactorily manufactured for the Government or the Original Equipment Manufacturer. This data must include sufficient information to allow the Coast Guard to evaluate the information relative to the above requirements. The submission of this data for review shall not impede award of this contract. The Government does NOT intend to pay for information solicited. Inquiries/information received after the established deadline shall NOT be considered for this acquisition. This synopsis is issued pursuant to FAR 6.302-1 and HSAM 3006.302-1.The (Request for Quotation) will be uploaded on (FEDBIZZOPPS) www.fbo.gov on or before 5/27/11. It is the Offer or's responsibility to monitor and upload the (Request for Quotation)from the website and other changes or amendments to this quotation Delivery shall be F.O.B Destination to the USCG SFLC, Warehouse, Receiving Room Bldg. 88, 2401 Hawkins Pt. Road, Baltimore, MD 21226-5000. See numbered notes 2 Contractors shall use ORCA to electronically submit Annual Representations and Certifications, in accordance with FAR Clause 52.212-3, and must be actively register in CONTRACTOR CENTRAL REGISTRATION, (CCR) www.crr.gov. The NAISC Code for this procurement is 333911, with size standard 500 employess.
