- Description
- This is a Sources Sought announcement. There is no solicitation available at this time. The 319th Contracting Flight at Grand Forks AFB, ND is conducting market research to determine the existence of certified companies that can complete the repair and/or replacement of various cathodic protection systems and their components. The existing cathodic protection system is installed on piping systems consisting of storm drains, water lines, fittings, hydrants, valves, casings, waste drainage, and foam fire protection piping. There are 10 specific cathodic protection piping systems at Grand Forks Air Force Base, North Dakota. The project also contains all other support construction as required. It is anticipated the period of performance of the resultant contract will be 120 days after receipt of the notice to proceed. A winter no-work period of 1 Nov - 15 Apr shall apply. Updated information will be posted electronically on Federal Business Opportunities as it becomes available. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 238190, and the small business size standard is $14M. The government anticipates award of a firm fixed price contract using Performance Price Tradeoff Procedures. Any interested and qualified sources are requested to provide a brief capabilities statement or letter of interest to SrA Nathan Blackmer via email to nathan.blackmer@us.af.mil. In addition, state if you are a HUBZone, Service Disabled Veteran Owned Business, or 8a Concern. Any information provided is strictly voluntary. The government will not pay for information submitted in response to this Sources Sought Notice.
