- Description
- This requirement is for a firm-fixed price contract for NSN 1730-01-305-6846RN Part Number 9316-010, Pneumatic Bag Console. The console is a manually operated pneumatic manifold system with valves, pressure gages and hose connectors mounted on a stand. The console is used to control inflation and deflation of pneumatic lifting bags. Pneumatic bags connected to the console by air hoses are used to lift crash damaged aircraft in recovery operations. The console and bags form a universal crash recovery system. This acquisition includes only the console. The basic requirement is 0001AA (17 each), 0001AB (14 each), 0001AC (4 each). The requirement also includes four (4) Option Periods each for a quantity range of 1-50 each. Delivery is 180 days ARO contract award / exercise of option. All assets will be shipped FOB Origin. Locations to be determined. Drawings will be made available online when the RFP is posted. The approximate RFP issue date will be 13 June 2011. Proposals are due 13 July 2011. Electronic procedures will be used for this solicitation at www.fedbizopps.gov only. NO TELEPHONE REQUESTS WILL BE HONORED and no hard copies will be mailed out. This proposed contract action is a 100% small business set-aside. All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency. Offerors shall prepare their proposals in accordance with mandatory, explicit, and detailed instructions contained in the RFP. The Government will evaluate past performance utilizing the Past Performance Information Retrieval System (PPIRS). Proposals will be evaluated and award made in accordance with the evaluation criteria stated in the RFP. OFFERORS ARE STRONGLY ENCOURAGED TO REVIEW RATINGS IN PPIRS FOR ACCURACY AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. All questions regarding the RFP and /or the data packages must be submitted in writing to Deborah.Jordan@robins@af.mil with copy to Kathryn.Canady@robins.af.mil. NO QUESTIONS MAY BE SUBMITTED BY TELEPHONE. All questions and answers will be uploaded to www.fedbizopps.gov. However, the identity of the potential offeror will not be included. Offerors are encouraged to register to receive notification for solicitation and all amendments/revisions and to check the FEDBIZOPPS site prior to submission of proposal. Anticipated award date is 31 Aug 2011.
