Description
US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) intends to exercise an option period with VirtualAgility, for a renewal of two (2) VirtualAgility Basic WorkCenter App License Extensions for the current system, and Software Support and Maintenance (patches, fixes, bugs) which were previously purchased from VirtualAgility. VirtualAgility owns all rights to the software. The License Extensions and Software Support purchase will be from VirtualAgility, who is currently the only authorized manufacturer of VirtualAgility products - this Software is proprietary and not available from any other source. VirtualAgility is authorized to install, maintain, and support all VirtualAgility products in secure and non-secure Government locations. ***Sole Source determination is based on the need for the renewal of Licensing and Support for VirtualAgility software to maintain absolute compatibility with CBP's existing standard architecture for critical system performance of the Contractor Tracking System (CTS). This software is unique in its ability to manipulate Oracle databases and Graphical User Interface design from a "point and click" interface. This has not been observed in other offerings. In addition, the VirtualAgility team is well positioned to address CBP specific requirements that would be difficult to address through any other vendor. CBP will continue to monitor the market for alternative units to provide these specific capabilities and services. ***Delivery shall be FOB Destination, Washington, DC, and is required within 30 days after receipt of order. ***The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 541519. ***The Government intends to exercise the option with VirtualAgility. No solicitation package will be issued. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, if any interested party believes it can meet the above requirement, it may submit a statement of capabilities. The statement of capabilities must be submitted in writing and must contain material in sufficient detail to allow the Government to determine if the party can perform the requirement. A determination to compete this action based on the responses received is in the sole discretion of the Government. All interested parties must express their interest and capabilities in writing via mail, facsimile, or email. Documents over 10 pages total will not be accepted by facsimile. Verifications of receipt of responses are the sole responsibility of the contractor. If no responsive statements are received by June 6, 2011 at 5:00 pm EST, an award shall be made to VirtualAgility.
