- The purpose of this amendment (amendment 1) is to post questions/answers posed and clarify information. Q - Is the contractor required to purchase the empty fuel barrels to transport both the 100 LL from Atqasuk to Umiat, the 100LL waste from Atqasuk to Kotzbue and the Jet A fuel from Barrow to Atqasuk? A - It is the vendors responsibility to account for all necessary charges associated with the tasks. The 55 gal drums left in Umiat will become Government property. The 55 gal drums utilized for the transport of waste fuel and transport of remaining quantities of 100LL to Selawik National Wildlife Refuge will not be left behind; therefore, not become Government property. Clarification, it is the vendors responsibility to dispose of waste fuel according to Federal, State, Local and FAA regulations.
