- Description
- The U.S. Army Contracting Center, Aberdeen Installation Contracting Division, Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD 21005, executed the award of Remedial Action Operations (RAO) and Optimization Services at Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland on 28 April, 2011 to Engineering Chemical Corporation (ECC) in the amount of $5,336,343.00 for the base year services, and an overall value of $23,659,512.30 (base year inclusive of all option years). This award was made as a Firm Fixed Price Remediation (FFPR) contract under a Performance Based Acquisition (PBA). The work is to be peformed at the following six sites: 1) AAOA08: Other Aberdeen Areas - GW Sites, 2) EACC4A: East Area Canal Creek Aquifer - Cluster 4A-A, 3)EAGQ02-D: Graces Quarters Surficial Aquifer Cluster 2, 4) EANS01-A: Nike Site Unconfined Groundwater, 5) EAOF01; Old O-Field GWTS-OU1, and 6) EAOF02: Old O-Field GWTS-OU2. NOTE: EA=Edgewood Area, AA=Aberdeen Area. This announcement constitutes an official award notice. The applicable NAICS code is 562910 with a size standard of 500 employees. The acquisition was a best value procurement performed using FAR Part 12 and FAR Part 15 procedures.
