- Description
- The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS), Plant Protection and Quarantine (PPQ), Avoca, New York, issued a sole source purchase order to TriEst Ag Group, Greenville, NC for field preparation and fumigation services for $28,290. This is a follow on procurement for a second application of methyl bromide chloropicrin to one (1) six acre field infected with the Golden Nematode in New York. The proposed contract action is for services for which the Government negotiated with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract is solely within the discretion of the Government.
