- Bar Code Labeling Instructions. Specifications for the Anemometer and Replacement Cup Assembly. RFQ for the Anemometer and Replacement Cup Assembly The U.S. Department of Commerce, NOAA, Eastern Acquisition Division-Kansas City (EAD-KC) intends to solicit for purchase of 25 each Anemometer, Totalizing, Miles, Electronic 8-Digit, 3-Cup, 6" Radius, IAW Drawing No. F106-1-SP001. NSN: NWS-11-030-0002; ASN: F106-1, and Anemometer, Totalizing, Replacement Cup Assembly, Wind Speed Sensor, NSN: NWS-11-030-0003; ASN: F1061A1. The only known approved source of supply is Novalynx P/N 200-2510-A or P/N 200-2510NC (Totalizing Anemometer) and P/N 200-WS-01B (Replacement Cup Assembly). The totalizing anemometer is used in the National Weather Service, Cooperative Weather Observing Program (COOP) Evaporation Station Pan. This item is being purchased for the National Weather Service (NWS), to be delivered to the National Logistics Support Center, Kansas City, MO. The supplies are to be shipped on a FOB Destination basis. The intended procurement is for supplies for which the Government intends to acquire under the guidelines of FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. This is a 100% small business set-aside. The Government will require a first article for testing under this requirement. The NAICS code for this action is 339999. The NWS special packaging/marking requirement will be applicable. All contractors doing business with the EAD-KC must be registered with the Central Contractor Registry (CCR) or certification of registration in the Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA). No award can be made unless the vendor is registered with CCR. In order to register with the CCR and ORCA offerors must have a Dun & Bradstreet number.
