- Description
- This is a synopsis/notification of a competitive construction project set-aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses, for the upgrade of lighting at B1005 at Buckley AFB, CO. The contractor shall furnish all management, supervision, labor, materials, equipment, and incidentals required for required lighting upgrades at Buckley AFB. The following is a brief description of the work requirements for this contract: Replace existing manual light switches with occupancy sensors. Sensors shall be strategically located to provide maximum room or hallway coverage. The contractor shall verify all actual measurements and conduct field surveys, site investigations, and testing as necessary to provide a firm fixed price proposal. The proposed contract will be a non-commercial, firm fixed price construction contract. The magnitude is between $100,000.00 and $500,000.00. The solicitation information will be posted on FedBizOpps at http://www.fbo.gov. Estimated issue date for the Request for Proposal FA2543-11-R-0015 is on or about 31 May 2011. This solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.502 and 5.102; therefore, hardcopies will not be provided. CAUTION: This solicitation will be issued electronically as will any amendments thereto. As a result of the posting, the Government is under no obligation and is in fact unable to maintain a bidder's mailing list. The primary North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 238210, Electrical Contractors and Other Wiring Installation Contractors with a size standard of $14.0 million.
