- Description
- In accordance with FAR subpart 6.302-1, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) intends to issue a sole purchase order to the University of Chicago, National Opinion Research Center in Chicago, IL. The purpose of this procurement is to do the following: 1) procure the inclusion of three questions from the 2010 GSS into the questionnaire for 2012 to continue measuring the history of HIV testing, in the new cross section sample; and 2) a report examining sexual behavior with opposite-sex and same-sex partners among females and males by selected characteristics for 2010; and 3) an analysis of opposite sex and same sex behavior from the 2010 GSS. It is believed that the University of Chicago, National Opinion Research Center is the only vendor that has access to the GSS Questionaire and its results. Interested parties who feel that they possess the capabilities to provide the services described above should submit a capability statement demonstrating their abilities to provide the services. The information received in response to this notice will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct a competitive requirement. Please send your documentation to Sharon Cunningham at the office identified above, by email at cux0@cdc.gov. Documentation should be received within fifteen (15) days after the date of publication of this synopsis to be considered by CDC. A determination by the CDC not to compete this proposed contract, based upon responses to this notification, is solely within discretion of the government.
