- Description
- The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst NJ intends to enter into negotiations on a sole source basis with CFM International (CFMI) Inc., Cincinnati OH, for procurement of the following C40 aircraft engine Support Equipment (SE): ACTUATOR, HYDRAULIC, STATOR ACTUATING SERV - P/N 856A1084G04; MANIFOLD, FUEL PRESSURE TEST - P/N 856A1115G07; SET, TOOL - ENGINE SUMPS DRYING/RELUBE - P/N 856A3620G02; CRADLE, CFM56-7 ENGINE - P/N AM-2811-4800; DOLLY, BASE UNIT, CFM56-7 ENGINE - P/N AM-2563-200. This SE is being purchased to support a fourth C-40 Squadron site stand-up. There are three already existing squadrons that are supported with these items. The engineering data and detailed product drawings for the SE are proprietary to CFMI. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate this requirement under the authority of 10 USC 2304(c)(1), FAR 6.302-1. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, the Government will consider all responses received within fifteen days after the date of publication of this synopsis. Registration in the Central Contractor Registration Database (CCR) (https://www.bpn.gov/ccr/default.aspx) is mandatory for consideration. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based on the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received as a result of this notice will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive requirement.
