- Description
- The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Field Acquisition Office, Grand Prairie, Texas, intends to make an award to a responsible quoter for the provision of Radiology Technician Services for the Federal Correctional Institution, Marianna, Florida. The contract type is an indefinite delivery/requirements contract with firm-fixed unit prices. The contract period shall consist of a base period from date of award through 12 months, and four one-year option periods for renewal at the discretion of the government. The estimated quantities for the base year and each option year are 1500 sessions. A session is defined as an hour. The work week will not exceed 8 sessions per day. Performance period will be Monday thru Friday, excluding holidays, between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., to include a 30-minute unpaid lunch break. The solicitation will be made available on or about June 17, 2011, and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration Federal Business Opportunities website at www.fedbizopps.gov. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. All future information concerning this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will be distributed solely through this website. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. The North American Industrial Classification (NAICS) code is 621111, with a small business size standard of $10.0 million. All contractors doing business with the Federal Government must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database. The website for registration is www.ccr.gov. The date for receipt of quotations is on/about July 19, 2011; however, this is a projected estimate and quoters should refer to Page 1 of the solicitation (Block #8) for the actual date quotations are due. Faith-Based and Community-Based Organizations can submit offers/bids/quotations equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. This solicitation is set-aside for small business concerns. All responsible small business concerns are encouraged to submit a quotation which may be considered.
