- Dealer Matrix Attachment 4 Dealer Matrix Attachment 3 Dealer Matrix Attachment 2 Dealer Matrix_Attachment 1_Instructions Dealership RFI Body This Request for Information (RFI) is limited to dealers and/or wholesalers of systems and modular furniture. RFI responses from manufacturers or dealers\wholesalers of other than systems and modular furniture will not be reviewed. Specifically, dealers/wholesalers with the NAICS Code 423210 should respond. DESCRIPTION The Enterprise Sourcing Group (ESG) Furnishings Commodity Council (FCC) is exploring the status, capacity and capability of furniture dealers/wholesalers of systems and modular furniture. Attachment 1, titled Instructions, outlines instructions for submittal of attached documents 2 through 4. Attachments 2 through 4, requests general information on your dealership to include products and services offered, staff capability and office capacity. This RFI may be followed by a Request for Proposal (RFP). All interested sources are strongly encouraged to submit information supporting this request. Responses shall be in Excel 97- 2003 workbook format and follow the layout provide in each attachment. Responses may be submitted until Tuesday, 14 June 2011. No hard copy responses will be accepted. Please submit your response to furnishings.cc@wpafb.af.mil. BACKGROUND The Enterprise Sourcing Group (ESG) located at Wright Patterson AFB, OH is responsible for enterprise level strategic sourcing. The ESG is the Air Force's centralized organization for executing enterprise-wide strategic sourcing for installation goods and services. ESG utilizes strategic sourcing best practices to continually improve and re-evaluate organizational purchasing activities, to improve quality and reduce acquisition costs for installation acquisition. ESG uses cross-functional teams called "Commodity Councils" to strategically source goods and/or services at the enterprise level. DISCLAIMER The purpose of this RFI is to obtain information about market information or capabilities for planning purposes as defined in FAR 15.201(e). Responses to this notice are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. Participants are advised that only Air Force Contracting Officers are legally authorized to commit the Government to the obligation of funds. Participants are solely responsible for all expenses associated with responding to this RFI. For copyright purposes, participants are also advised that submitting a response implies express permission for the Government to use the data, pictures, and other information contained in the submittals. We highly encourage all interested dealerships to provide a complete and thorough response to this RFI, however not responding will not preclude participation should a solicitation be released. Please monitor the Federal Business Opportunities (www.fbo.gov) website for future information pertaining to this potential requirement. The Air Force will not accept or acknowledge: e-mails over 1MB, brochures, samples, catalogs and any other marketing information.
