- Competitive Combined Synopsis/Solicitation The Department of the Interior, U.S. Geological Survey (USGS), Earthquake Science Center, has a requirement for One (1) Laser Doppler Vibrometer (LDV). This is a Brand Name or Equal requirement to a PolyTec CLV-2534-2 Large Bandwidth Laser Doppler Vibrometer. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is G11PS00475 and is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in affect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-50, effective 16 May 2011. Please see solicitation with CLINS, technical specifications, provisions, and clauses. The desired delivery date is 22 July 2011 and shall be delivered to the Earthquake Science Center, 345 Middlefield Rd, MS. 977, Menlo Park, CA 94025. Quotations are due no later than 05:00pm PDT on 08 June 2011. The Government anticipates award of a commercial, Firm-Fixed Price type contract. All firms must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database at www.ccr.gov, as well as, the Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) to be considered for award.
