- TYPE OF ANNOUNCEMENT: This is a sources sought synopsis for information and planning purposes only. It's purpose is to determine if there is offerors interested in and capable of providing Aircraft Restoration, as described herein. All responsible sources shall submit a capabilities statement which will be considered by the agency. Responses to this notification must be received not later than 12:00 P.M. MST on 3 June 2011 POINT OF CONTACT: SSgt Joshua Kinsey, joshua.kinsey@cannon.af.mil (575)784-2956, fax (575)784-1147. All correspondence sent via e-mail shall contain a subject line that reads "FA4855-11-S-0002 Heritage Aircraft Restoration". Email filters are designed to block email attachments without subject lines or with suspicious subject lines or content(i.e.exe or.zip files). Therfore, if the prescribed subject lines is not included, the e-mail may not get through the filter. Also.zip or.exe files are prohibited attachments and may be deleted by the filters. Ensure that only.pdf,.doc, or.xls documents are sent as attachments to email. If not using e-mail or fax, please send capabilities statement to: 27 SOCONS/C FLT ATTN: SSgt Joshua Kinsey 110 East Sextant Avenue Cannon AFB,NM 88103 DESCRIPTION OF REQUIREMENT: The contractor shall provide all management, labor, tools, equipment, transportation, materials and incidentals necessary to remove corrosion, provide corrosion control measures and painting of the all Heritage Aircraft located at Cannon AFB. All work will be done in accordance with the Statement of Work (SOW), all applicable laws, Air Force Technical Orders, Enviromental Protection Agency regulations and standard commercial practices.
