- AG-82X9-S-11-0083, Long Park Site Preparation Project is a Site Prep Services project that includes scarification and slash piling within the Blacktail Timber Sale. This is a silvicultural step in regenerating a stand after harvest. The work required for this project includes; piling slash by means of a dozer-type machine with a brush blade or machine of similar capabilities; scarifying soils; mechanically knocking down brush and/or slash; and/or mechanically cutting small, diseased, or poorly formed pine and treating slash. All services will be accomplished by use of Contractor furnished and Contractor operated equipment. There will be approximately 191 acres to be treated, and the allotted time for this contract is 120 calendar days with an estimated start date of July 1, 2011. All work shall be performed on the Yampa Ranger District of the Medicine Bow/Routt National Forest. A pre-proposal site visit is scheduled for June 15, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. Details of this meeting will be included in the solicitation. The anticipated date for issuance of the solicitation is on or around May 23, 2010. The due date will be identified on the solicitation. The solicitation will be available for free download at www.fbo.gov. All questions pertaining to this solicitation must be submitted, in writing, to Malinda (Mindy) Jiminez at mrjiminez@fs.fed.us or via facsimile to 970-295-6699 no later than June 16, 2011. All Offerors shall be registered to the Central Contractor's Registry (CCR) in accordance to FAR 52.204-7 to be considered responsive to this solicitation. All Offerors must be registered in ORCA in accordance to FAR 52.204-8 to be considered responsive to this solicitation. All Offerors must respond to all evaluation criteria in Section M of the solicitation to be considered responsive to this solicitation. Offerors to fail to meet these three criteria will not be considered in the Technical Evaluation of offers.
