- The pre-solicitation notice for this project was ORIGINALLY posted on May 20, 2011 with the wrong solicitation number. The correct solicitation number for this project is AG-82X9-S-11-9005. Chris Mountain Stewardship Contract -- This project includes thinning of ponderosa pine stands and removal of associated biomass across up to six cutting units (total of 577 acres) in the Chris Mountain area on the Pagosa Ranger District (T35N, R3W, Sec 28, 29, 32 & 33, NMPM). Incorporated in thinning activities are: maintenance of associated system roads, construction, maintenance & closure of temporary roads, and associated erosion control activities. This will be offered as a base bid (required) plus options contract. This project is being advertised under the Stewardship Act and if open to large and small businesses. The solicitation for this project will only be made available through the Federal Business Opportunities website beginning on or about 6/3/2011.
