- This Sources Sought Notice is for information and planning purposes only and shall not be construed as a solicitation or as an obligation on the part of the Fleet Industrial Supply Center San Diego (FISCSD). The purpose of this sources sought notice is to identify qualified small business concerns including veteran-owned small business (VOSB), service-disabled veteran-owned small business(SDVOSB), HUBZone small business, small disadvantaged business, and women-owned small business that are capable of providing requirements as specified below. FISCSD does not intend to award a contract on the basis of responses, nor otherwise pay for the preparation of any information submitted. Based on response/s to this notice, FISCSD will issue Request for Quotation (RFQ) or a Special Notice synopsis no later than June 6, 2011. The NAICS code is 336611 and the Small Business Standard is 1,000. Requirements are as follows: CLIN0001 Qty Two (2) ea Twenty Five (25) foot tall Brow Stand Platform based on attached MILSPEC MIL-P-23210F dtd April 2, 2002 and Engineering Drawing. It is anticipated that a single Firm-Fixed-Price contract under FAR 13.5 Test Program will be awarded no later than July 18, 2011 with desired delivery schedule of September 29, 2011. It is requested that all interested concerns respond with a Capability Statement of a maximum of ten (10) pages on 8.5 x 11 in paper, font no smaller than 10 point, demonstrating ability to provide above requirements. All interested businesses shall submit responses via electronic email only to the attention of Isabelito M. Cabana, Contract Specialist, at Isabelito.cabana@navy.mil. Questions or comments prior to the closing date may be addressed directly to the Contract Specialist. Responses shall be received electronically via email no later than 1200 Pacific Time on May 29, 2011. Late responses will not be considered. The Capability Statement must address, at a minimum, the following. 1. Statement providing Company Name, Company Address, DUNS or Cage Code Number, Points of Contact (POC - include name, phone number, fax number, and e-mail address) and confirmation of current small business status under NAICS code 336611. 2. Prior/current corporate (past performance) experience performing efforts of similar size and scope within the last three years, including contract number, organization supported, indication of whether as a prime or subcontractor, contract values, hours/dollars incurred to date, Government point of contact with current telephone number and email address, and brief description of how the referenced contract relates to the services described herein. 3. Description of contractor ™s technical capability, or potential approach, to achieving technical ability, to perform at least 51% of the delivery order with its own employees. 4. Description and/or picture/s of contractor ™s manufacturing plant or facility. 5. The contractor ™s proposed delivery schedule. NOTE: Incomplete responses will not be considered.
