Description
This notice does NOT constitute a request for proposal, request for quote, or invitation for bid. The intent of this notice is to identify potential offerors for Erect and Dismantle Scaffold Systems at Building Hangar 105, Marine Corps Base Hawaii, and Building 9, Kunia Tunnel, Oahu, Hawaii. The contractor shall provide all labor, management, supervision, tools, material, and equipment required to perform facility investment services to erect & dismantle scaffold systems from ground level to over the mezzanine at Building Hangar 105 (approximately 47 feet high), Marine Corps Base Hawaii, and from ground level to top of stairway for two stairways at Building 9, Kunia Tunnel, Oahu, Hawaii. The work includes, but is not limited to, erecting scaffold systems which are to include deck, post, wire cross braces, rails and ladder access for every level. The Contractor is to protect the existing floor by installing mudsill plates under jacks. The term of the contract is approximately one month for Hangar 105 and six months for Building 9. The NAICS Code for this procurement is 238990 and the annual size standard is $14,000,000. This is a new procurement. It does not replace an existing contract. No prior contract information exists. Offerors can view and/or download the solicitation, and any attachments, at https://www.neco.navy.mil/ when it becomes available. Interested parties must submit the following information: (1) Full name and address of the firm (2) DUNs number (3) A statement that your firm has similar past performance and experience (4) A statement regarding your business size (e.g. 8(a), small business, large business, hubzone). No other information is required at this time. The proposed contract listed here is being considered for 100 percent set-aside for small business (SB). Interested SB concerns should, as early as possible but not later than 15 days of this notice, indicate interest in the acquisition by providing to the contracting office above evidence of capability to perform and a positive statement of eligibility as a small business concern. If adequate interest is not received from SB concerns, the solicitation will be issued as unrestricted without further notice. This is a sources sought announcement and is for information and planning purposes only and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government, implied or otherwise, to issue a solicitation or ultimately award a contract. An award will not be made on responses to this notice. This Sources Sought Synopsis is not a Request for Quote (RFQ); it is a market research tool being utilized to determine the availability of sources prior to issuing an RFQ.
