- HAZMAT Procedures Wage Determination RFP for Barber/Beauty Shop Concession This is a combined synopsis/solicitation. 1. Homestead Air Reserve Base is requesting a proposal from any business interested in providing the Barber/Beauty Shop Concession service at Homestead ARB, FL. The contract start date is 01 July 2011, for a one (1) year period. The contract will include four (4) renewable/option years for a total contract lifespan of five (5) years. 2. This is a full & open competition with no set-asides. 3. If you wish to compete for the opportunity to provide this service, please submit a package no later than 12AM, 13 June 2011. Proposals must be signed by a responsible officer of the company. Note that the successful contractor must comply with all elements of the Statement of Need (SON) dated 13 May 2011 (embedded in the solicitation FA6648-11-R-0006), attached. Utilize the instruction to offerors in section L of the RFP. 4. Any prospective contractor must be registered in Central Contractor Registration (CCR) to conduct business with the government. To register with CCR, telephone Dun & Bradstreet at (866)705-5711 to receive your nine (9) digit Data Universal Numbering System (DUNS). Once you receive your DUNS, go to the CCR home page at WWW.CCR.GOV to register on line. 5. The associated NAICS code is 812111. 6. Proposals may be submitted via email to Steve Cox at ( stephen.cox.8@us.af.mil ), by fax at (786)415-7055, or in person. 7. The government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforms to the solicitation and will be most advantageous to the government. 8. The encumbent concessionaire has expressed that they may be willing to work with the new concessionaire in purchasing the existing chairs and needed equipment. It will be up to the new concessionaire to pursue this avenue. 9. A site visit is scheduled for 02 June 2011 at 10AM.
