- Description
- The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Lakehurst, NJ is looking to procure 90 of 3.625 " Diameter X 18-22 Foot length Steel Round Bar. Material shall be IAW SAE-AMS 6348C or SAE-AMS 6528B (SAE 4130), normalized, except macrostructure shall be worse than S1-R1-C1 IAW STM E381-01. Material shall be untrasonically tested IAW AMS-STD-2154, Class A. Material and Ultrasonic Testing Certifications are required. Delivery shall be within 90 days of award. Early delivery is acceptable and encouraged. Preservation, Packing, and Packaging: steel bars shall be packaged 5 each per bundle. Waterproof tag with contract number, mark for information, and heat code number shall be attached to each bar. Each steel bar shal be metal stamped on both ends with the heat code number in characters no larger than ¼ inch high. Inspection & Acceptance at Destination. This requirement is 100% Set Aside for Small Business. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation; this announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. All vendors must be registered in the Central Contract Registration (CCR) Database. The internet website is http://www.ccr.dlsc.dla.mil/ccringq or www.ccr.gov. It is mandatory to register with the CCR as your Duns Number(Data Universal Numbering System) and your CAGE (Commercial and Government Entity) code will be required to conduct business with the Department of Defense. In addition, all invoices will be electronically submitted in the Wide Area Work Flow(WAWF); information available in FAR Clause 5252.232-9513. Additional information required: Cage Code, Duns Number, Tax ID Number, Payment Terms, Delivery schedule, Delivery charges if applicable, GSA contract number if applicable, Business size, and Email address.
