- The Great Lakes Acquisition Center (GLAC) in Milwaukee, WI is soliciting quotes to furnish all labor, material, tools, equipment, cables, transformers, load banks and parts necessary to complete the load bank testing. Contractor shall conduct four continuous hours, full standby power rating artificial load bank testing of each of the four specified generator sets with meter, gauge and thermometer readings to be taken and recorded every thirty minutes. All services shall be performed on-site at VA Edward Hines Medical Center, Hines, IL. Exact location is: Edward Hines VA Hospital, 5000 S. 5th Avenue, Hines, IL 60141. The Contractor shall perform to the standards of the contract as well as all local, state, and federal regulations. NAICS: 811111. Size Standard is $7 Million. All responsible sources may submit an offer (Full and Open with no set asides). This was previously submitted on GSA Ebuy as RFQ 564651 and has been cancelled due to no responsible offer being received. There is no veteran business able to perform this action and incumbent is a large business. The solicitation and specifications will be issued and made available on the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) website: http://www.fbo.gov. Any amendments to this solicitation will also be available at the URL addresses. Offerors are advised that they are responsible for obtaining amendments. No telephone requests will be accepted.
