- Description
- The US EPA Region 6 Office intends to negotiate on a sole source with Phenomenex, Inc. for Envirosep ABC columns and guard columns for GPC clean up of sample extracts. EPA believes that this is the only manufacturer for this product. This proposed action is for equipment for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations. However, all quotes received within the time frame of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed simplified acquisition requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Response must include detailed technical information and other technical literature demonstrating the ability to meet these requirements. Responses shall also include itemized pricing that is sufficient to make a determination that competition is feasible. If no responses are received on or before 05/27/2011, 4:00 pm, CT, an award shall be made to Phenomenex, Inc.
