- The Department of Veterans Affairs, Augusta GA (VISN 7), is issuing a solicitation for the installation of a Liebert 20-ton DS/dual cool air handler and compressor at the Ralph Johnson VA Medical Center, Charleston SC. The installation shall include running 2 chill water supply and return line, roof rails for the rooftop condensing unit (scismic flat type rails are required), running refrigerant lines from the air handler to the rooftop condenser, installing condensate lines, and providing a Saturday crane lift to position the rooftop condenser. Contractor shall be Liebert certified to perform this service. This solicitation is 100% Small Business set aside with NAICS Code 238220 with a size standard of $14.0 million. Only offerors from those firms Liebert certified and regularly established in business of providing this type of service will be considered. This solicitation will be advertised and available for bidding on the Federal Business Opportunities website o/a May 23, 2011. Offerors are advised they are responsible for obtaining any and all posted amendments. Any and all questions regarding this solicitation must be in writing on company letterhead to include telephone number, fax number and point of contact to the Network Contracting Office, Augusta VAMC, Shirley Adams, Contract Specialist, 501 Greene St, Hatcher Building, Suite 2, Augusta GA 30901 or fax 478-274-5588 no later than June 3, 2011.
