Site Visit: 20 Apr 11, 9:00am CST. If you require access to the installation, please request access by e-mailing the following addresses: scott.thomas.25@us.af.mil or forrest.bradley@us.af.mil. Follow up with a call to the number listed below on the day prior to the scheduled site visit to ensure Base access. Please arrive at least one hours prior to the schedule site visit at the Airman' Gate Visit's Center located at Valley High off of Loop 410, in order to ensure access in timely manner. Meet at 802 CONS, 1655 Selfridge Ave. Bldg. 5450, Lackland AFB, TX 78236 before we go out to the proposed job site. Description: Synopsis: Title: Reconstruction of Drainage Channel Project #: MPYJ 10-0178, Storm drainage repairs, VOQ B2449 Project Magnitude: Between $250,000 and $500,000. Period of Performance: 65% Design - 21 days after NTP 95% Design - 22 days after NTP Construction - 102 days after NTP, Total POP - 145 days. (All days noted here represent calendar days). Note: The solicitation with the official specifications and drawings will be available on the World Wide Web on or about 8 April 2011 at http://www.fbo.gov. Project Scope: Design/Build Description of Work: Design/Build for the reconstruction of the drainage channel from the end of the existing riprap at Kenly Street to a point 375 feet downstream within the existing tree line. The project consists of the construction of a stilling basin, a retaining wall, reshaping of the channel bottom and side slopes, reinforcement of the channel bottom and north slope (via permanent turf reinforcement mats and an armor flex system) and the restraining and re-bedding of an existing recycled water main. **Just a reminder that this bid will close TOMORROW (20 May 2011) at 1:00 pm central standard time.
