- Description
- The United States Patent & Trademark Office intends to issue a sole source award to Iron Mountain/NUS for facilities maintenance of the Boyers, PA secure facility. Iron Mountain/NUS is the property owner and operator of the highly secure facility in Boyers, PA and has claimed right of first refusal for work done to its own property, which include tasks such as plumbing repair, adding/moving electrical outlets, repositioning air ducts, etc. As such, Iron Mountain/NUS has a unique knowledge of the space, and infrastructure, as well as the subcontractors who have been pre-screened to gain access to the facility and who also have specific knowledge of the facility. Additionally, Iron Mountain/NUS controls access to the facility, making them uniquely situated to provide these services to the USPTO. The period of performance shall be June 1, 2011 - May 31, 2012 with four 1-year option periods. Total contract value is Not To Exceed $875,000.00
