- Description
- The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR SYSCOM) PMA-265 has a requirement for the acquisition of BRU-32 B/A Ejector Bomb Racks (Part No. 1534AS7000), associated hooks (Part No. 1534AS7205 and 1534AS485), and technical data, for the F/A-18 aircraft. Solicitation N00421-10-R-1064 will be issued under small business set aside provisions. The anticipated contract will fulfill Fiscal Years (FY) 2011-2014 requirements and will consist of a base and three (3) option periods. Stepladder pricing is requested with an approximate maximum quantity of 420 BRU-32 B/A units per Fiscal Year. Required delivery will be at an approximate rate of 25 units per month beginning October 2013. The Request for Proposal (RFP) may include periodic production samples and updates to drawings as required. The RFP is anticipated to be released on or about 31 May 2011. An award date of 30 September 2011 is anticipated for this contract. The solicitation will only be made available via the NAVAIR homepage located at http://www.navair.navy.mil/index.cfm?fuseaction=home.display&key=OpenSolicitations. All amendments will be posted at the same website. Hard copies of the solicitation and amendments will not be mailed to contractors. After RFP release, offerors should access the website regularly in order to ensure that they have all amendments. IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR PROSPECTIVE OFFERORS: Registration in the DoD Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database as a Small Business under NAICS code 336413 will be a prerequisite for receiving an award.
