- Description
- The U.S. Army Contracting Command Picatinny on behalf of Project Director for Joint Services (PDJS), Picatinny Arsenal, NJ has a requirement to procure m-terphenyl for potential use in the M83 smoke grenade. The contractor shall synthesize, pack, and deliver m-terphenyl, as per the requirements delineated in the Statement of Work. The contractor will be required to deliver 5lbs of m-terphenyl eight weeks after contractor award and 50 lbs of m-terphenyl six weeks after receipt of Government approval of 5lb delivery. The U.S. Army intends to satisfy this requirement through full and open competition on a lowest price technically acceptable basis. It is anticipated that the Government will award a Firm Fixed Price, commercial purchase order(s) to up to two responsible contractors for this effort.
