- Sources sought for 8a, Hubzone, Service Disabled Veteran Owned, Women Owned Small Businesses for the following: The Contractor shall furnish all supervision, labor, tools, vehicles, materials, quality control, equipment (except for equipment specified as Government furnished) required to collect, transport and dispose of all solid waste and recyclable materials at the Unites States Army Garrison(USAG), West Point, New York and Building #108, Stewart International Airport, New Windsor, New York, to include residential refuse, organic waste, cardboard, and recycling from several quarters. Additionally, the Contractor shall install, service and repair Government provided equipment as per manufacturer specifications. This may require 7 day per week work. All solid waste and recyclables generated (excluding regulated medical or hazardous waste) is to be collected, transported and disposed of and/or delivered as required. The Contractor shall collect recyclable materials as specified and deliver to the USAG Recycle Center co-located at the USAG, Solid Waste Transfer Station on McNair Road, South of State Route 293. The Contractor shall transport processed recycling materials from the USAG Recycle Center to disposal points within a fifty (50) mile radius of USAG and occasionally up to one hundred (100) miles away as required by the Recycle Program Manager when requested through the KO or a designated representative from the USAG - West Point, New York 10996. The Contractor shall comply with all local, state and federal controls, regulations, and laws as applicable to the service provided. The Contractor shall transport all collected solid waste to the USMA Transfer Station where scale weight tickets will be collected. The Contractor shall be responsible for obtaining all permits, bonds, licenses, insurance or other authorizations. Responses to this notice shall be submitted by email to: Lori.Gambill@us.army.mil.
