Description
This is a Pre-Solicitation notice (synopsis) for a full and open competitive procurement. The Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) has a requirement to provide Technical Support of the Travel Model Improvement Program (TMIP). The objective of this contract is to assist FHWA in conducting outreach and capacity building to the TMIP user community through delivery timely research, training and technical assistance to those users. Performance under this cost reimbursable contract may encompass, but not necessarily be limited to, support for the deployment of new travel forecasting modeling techniques to local planning agencies and state governments; the support to be provided includes research deployment and technical assistance to those users. The Government will not accept telephoned, e-mailed, letter-written, or faxed requests for the solicitation (RFP) for this procurement. The RFP will be released and available electronically only at http://www.fedbizopps.gov. Interested parties may register at the aforementioned site to receive a variety of procurement announcements/notifications. It is the responsibility of interested parties to monitor the FedBizOpps website for any amendments to the RFP package. The Government reserves the right to award multiple contracts based on this solicitation. NO OTHER PROCUREMENT INFORMATION IS AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME.
