- Description
- The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst, NJ intends to negotiate on a non-competitive basis with Testek, Inc, Wixom, MI for the procurement of updated software version for the Aircraft Engine Component Test Stand (AECTS). The software updates implemented as a part of this task encompass inputs to the existing AECTS software baseline to correct discrepancies discovered across numerous test part programs as well as updates to several functional areas within the software. The Government intends to procure the above items under the authority of 10 USC 2304 (c) (1), FAR 6.302-1. The Government does not own current data drawings or other specifications to permit full and open competition. All responsible sources are encouraged to submit a proposal in writing that may be used by the Government in determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government, not to open the requirement to competition based upon the response to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government.
