- The U.S. Army Contracting Command - Picatinny, Picatinny Arsenal, N.J. 07806-5000, on behalf of the Product Manager Crew Served Weapons, intends to award an additional maximum quantity of 760 MK19 Mod 3 40MM Grenade Machine Guns (GMG) and 20 MK19 Training Aids as modifications to increase the ceiling quantities to the existing multiple award IDIQ Firm Fixed Price contracts W15QKN-08-D-0459 and W15QKN-08-D-0460. All delivery orders will be competed between the current producers. This action will be awarded on a Limited Competition basis to General Dynamics Armament and Technical Products and Alliant Techsystems, Inc. under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c)(1); Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements as implemented by FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(ii)(A) and (B). The overall contract effort is to manufacture, inspect, assemble, package and ship MK19s GMG and MK 19 training Aids. Please note that this notice does not constitute as a Request for Proposal.
