- The Department of Justice, Federal Bureau of Prisons, intends to award a sole source procurement with the Society of American Indian Government Employees (SAIGE) for the 8th Annual National Training Conference. The contractor will serve as a subject matter expert on various Affirmative Action Topics in Criminal Justice within the Federal Government. The participants will attend the "Service, Honor, Respect: Strengthening Our Cultures and Communities" conference from Monday, June 13th 2011 until Friday, June 17, 2011 in Tulsa Oklahoma. This training has been identified by the Office of Personnel Management as training that is compliant with 5 U.S.C. Chapter 41. The statuatory authority is 41 U.S.C. 253 (c)(1), Only One Responsible Source. The applicable NAICS code is 923110. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals and sole source notice is provided pursuant to FAR 6.305(a). A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely with the discretion of the Government. Any parties interested in the award should submit their response, with proof of ability to provide the service, no later than May 30, 2011. Information received will normally be considered for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement in the future.
