Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs, Iowa City VA Medical Center, Iowa City, IA intends to negotiate a sole source procurement under the authority of FAR 6.302.1, with Brit Systems Inc, 1909 Hi Line Dr Ste A, Dallas, TX 75207, to purchase parts and labor to relocate the the Radiology PACS System Server and test and validate the system. Interested parties may identify their experience in providing service for the Radiology PACS System to the Contracting Officer via e-mail at anne.johnson@va.gov or fax 319-887-4957. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is VA-263-11-RQ-0395 and issued as a request for quote (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-51, effective Apr 1, 2011. The associated NAICS code is 541512 and small business size standard is $25.0M. The acquisition is not set-aside and is being negotiated as a sole source procurement. The requirement for services includes the following: ITEM 1.Parts and Labor to relocate the Radiology PACS System Server, and test and validate the system per the attached Statement of Work. 1 JB TOTAL COST $____________ The provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial, applies to this acquisition along with additional addenda.
