- Sources Sought for Solicitation number FA4803-11-Q-A016. This Sources Sought/Market Survey is seeking all interested businesses for competitive consideration. The 20th Contracting Squadron, located at Shaw Air Force Base, SC, is seeking capability packages to determine the size and types of businesses available for a firm fixed-price contract for a Carpet Indefinite Delivery / Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) contract with the below characteristics. The contractor shall provide carpet and covebase that meets all of the following salient characteristics: - Pattern and color shall be Tandus; Applause (colors 28502 Mosaic, 28517 Marine, or 28511 Wintergreen), or Colorbook (color 48010 Precious Metal) - 20 year warranty, no static, no shock and 5 year warranty no stain, no fade, no exclusions - Backing must be synthetic material no jute backing is authorized. - Adhesives shall be certified as CRI "Green Label" or "Greeen Label Plus". No antimicrobials. - Rubber cove base 4 inches high,.080 gage, color to be selected, as manufactured by Roppe or equal. - Carpet cover base 4 to 6 inches high, to be bound with coordinating trim as manufactured by the carpet manufacturer or to be selected by facility manager. ***Funds are not presently available for this requirement. The Government's obligation under this requirement is contingent upon the availability of appropriated funds from which payment for contract purposes can be made. No legal liability on the part of the Government for any payment may arise until funds are made available to the Contracting Officer for this contract and until the Contractor receives notice of such availability, to be confirmed in writing by the Contracting Officer.*** NOTE: This is not a request to be placed on a solicitation mailing list nor is it a Request for Quote (RFQ) or a solicitation announcement. All interested firms shall provide the information as spelled out in the salient characteristics above. The Government will not pay for any material provided in response to this market survey nor the return of the data provided.
