- This is a combined synopsis and solicitation for commercial items, prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This procurement is being issued as 100% Small business set-aside. This combined synopsis/solicitation incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-50 released 20110516 and DFARS Change Notice 20110511. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 337215 and the size standard is 500 employees. The small business size standard for a concern which submits an offer in its own name, but which proposes to furnish an item which it did not itself manufacture, is 500 employees. REQUIREMENT: The Air Force has a requirement for outdoor display cases to be used outside dining facilities to post daily menus. Installation is not required. Quotes should include delivery date and contain product specifications addressing characteristics such as quality/durability, materials each item is made of, color, etc. Quoted product specifications shall meet all criteria listed in the item description. FOB: Destination 0001 Outdoor menu case (10 EACH) Bronze-colored aluminum outer case, weather resistant aluminum backing with sealant, single door entry, security cam-lock on front of frame with two keys, break resistant acrylic glass door, self-healing natural cork interior, condensation control, nearly 25"w x 37"h x 2"d (5/8" usable depth) ability to hold four menus up to 8.5" x 11" in portrait view. Includes header boards for each case. Header boards are to be labeled as follows: LIVE OAK INN (1 each), MESQUITE INN (1 each), DEFENDER INN (2 each), AMIGO INN (2 each), RODNEY H. GOTT (2 each), LTA Dining Facility (2 each) 0002 Delivery to 410 N Luke Drive, Bldg 1530, Lackland AFB, TX 78236 (1 LOT) Please include unit cost and total cost for 0001 and 0002 and the total cost for both Line Items. The following provisions apply to this solicitation (they can be found at http://farsite.hill.af.mil). FAR 52.212-1 - Instructions to Offerors - Commercial Items (Jun 08). Interested parties may submit a written offer in accordance with FAR 52.212-1. Offers submitted orally will not be accepted. Your offer must include discount terms, delivery date, tax identification number, CAGE code, and DUNS number. To be eligible to receive an award resulting from this RFQ, offerors must be registered in the DoD Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database, no exceptions and must complete the Representations and Certifications in the ORCA database at http://www.bpn.gov/. To register in CCR, visit http://www.ccr.gov or call 1-888-227-2423. FAR 52.212-2 - Evaluation - Commercial Items (Jan 99). The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the lowest-priced, technically acceptable, responsible offeror. Since award will be based on initial responses, offerors are highly encouraged to quote their most advantageous pricing in their initial response. Award will be made using Simplified Acquisition Procedures in accordance with FAR 13.106-2.
