- The Cherry Point Satellite Contracting Office of the Marine Corps Installation East (MCIEAST) at Cherry Point, NC 28533 hereby gives notice of intent to award a sole source purchase order to Parker-Hannifin Corporation DBA Customer Support Military Division, 14300 Alton Pkwy, Irvine, Ca., 92618, cage code 59211. Research has revealed this contractor is the only source capable of providing the unique or specialized features of the items requested. Fleet Readiness Center-East, Cherry Point, NC has a requirement for the purchase of 2 ea test plug, p/n F65-0-3447-101; 2 each test fixture, p/n C79900TF1-101; 2 each test plug, p/n 379900TF3-101; 2 each filter dummy, p/n 379900TF9-1; 2 each valve plug, p/n 379900Tf6-101. The requested items are commercial in nature and will fall under the purview of commercial items in accordance with FAR Part 12. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. However, all quotes received in a timely manner of fifteen (15) days after the date of publication of this synopsis will be considered. Interested parties may identify their interest and unique capabilities to respond to this requirement or submit their quote. ALL RESPONSIBLE SOURCES MAY SUBMIT AN OFFER, WHICH WILL BE CONSIDERED. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
