- The Army Contracting Command - Redstone has a second quarter Fiscal Year (FY) 2012 base year requirement, with an additional FY 12 option and two one-year option periods (FY 13 and FY 14), for a new hybrid Cost Plus Incentive Fee (CPIF) and Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF) type contract for the MQ1-C Gray Eagle UAS product support PBL effort for the Block 1 and Quick Reaction Capability (QRC) configurations. Subject requirement is for the overall logistics support and fleet sustainment operations (both CONUS and OCONUS), to provide maintenance and repair support, including replenishment spares, as well as training, for deployed QRC systems and the first through seventh units equipped for the MQ1-C Gray Eagle Program of Record systems. Requirement will include CPIF service and repair line items and CPFF replenishment spare line items. The associated NAICS Code is 488190, and the applicable size standard is $7.0M. This procurement is planned for award on a sole source basis to General Atomics Aeronautical Systems, Inc. (GA-ASI), 14200 Kirkham Way, Poway, CA 92064, CAGE Code OYJB5. Authority Cited is 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), as implemented by paragraphs 6.302-1 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) entitled - Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This requirement is subject to availability of funds. Firms that can provide the required services described above are encouraged to identify themselves. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which will be considered.
