Description
FOR ALL INFORMATION CONTACT: Paul Herink, RDER-PRA-GD, (732) 532-1755 This is a market survey to locate additional sources for the PUMP, FUEL, METERING AND DISTRIBUTING NSN 2910-01-476-8668, P/N RE505411. This acquisition is for a spot buy of 21 fuel pumps. The current source for this Diesel Fuel Pump is JOHN DEERE & COMPANY, Cage 66836. This Fuel Pump is used on the 30 KW TQG Generator Sets. Detailed technical data for the manufacture or acceptance of this Diesel Fuel Pump is not available from the Army. Suppliers capable of furnishing this Fuel Pump must so indicate, by writing to Commander, USA CERDEC, ATTN: RDER-PRA-GD, Building 1209E, Fort Monmouth, NJ 07703-5043. The response should include production lead time, production capacity by month, surge capacity, number of years parts will be available, ranges for price breaks, if applicable, part number & manufacturer (CAGE) OF proposed parts, or any other information that could affect the acquisition, supply and delivery of the parts. The response should also include documentation such as copy of purchase order if the supplier was vendor to the listed source, or a statement from listed source demonstrating that the supplier can, in fact, supply the Army with this unit from the supplier listed above. The Government will also consider this unit from other manufacturers who have the same form, fit and function as the required part. This unit would have to pass extensive performance and qualification testing to ensure the item meets the Military's requirement. The successful supplier may be required to warrant that the item supplied will satisfactorily perform when used for the purpose intended by the Army. The interested vendors shall provide the CERDEC POC with the above requested data, company name, address, indicate if small business, company representative, telephone & fax #, and e-mail address.
